BRIEF OF DESIGN JOURNEY
Niki Jones Agency, Inc. redesigned the Colorado Energy Office’s website to enhance access to funding and financing opportunities for residents, businesses, and community organization in Colorado. CEO is a national leader in renewable energy policy, and their website design needed to convey their innovative approach to reducing carbon emissions. We used colors from the State’s brand guidelines to create a fresh, sophisticated design for the CEO,. We provided 22 unique page designs. We also researched and Search Engine Optimized 60 pages of copy, creating templates for the CEO to add new funding and financing opportunities over time while maintaining consistent organization of information to users.
Icons
As part of their website redesign, we also created a custom suite of icons to help users navigate funding and financing opportunities by user type (resident, business, government, or community organization) as well as by category (electric, geothermal, wind, solar, etc.)
MOBILE DESIGN
With mobile browsing at an all-time high, CEO’s web presence needed to be optimized for any type of viewing.
