WPWA
PROJECT OVERVIEWWayne Pike Workforce Alliance (WPWA), an organization advancing the economic interests of Pennsylvania’s Wayne and Pike counties, required a brand identity for its emerging retail line of locally sourced agricultural goods. While dairy accounts for most of the counties’ agricultural production, the logo also needed to incorporate produce, livestock, and even lumber.

THE LOGO
Because the breadth of the client’s agricultural offerings necessitated inclusion of elements related to dairy, livestock, produce, and lumber, our designers utilized flat, vector style imagery for legibility across a variety of packaging and sizes. The mother cow and calf speak to the generational aspect of dairy farming in the Poconos while echoing the tagline “Grown for Generations.” The pasture in which they graze represents both livestock and produce, while the maple leaf protruding from behind the brand name signifies the region’s logging and syrup industries.
COLOR PALETTE
The color palette for this logo combines grassy earth tones with autumnal shades of orange and yellow. Sky blue adds to the open, pastural imagery while the navy blue of the seal’s ring and brand name provide a professional yet amiable quality.
