PROJECT OVERVIEWThe Town of Oyster Bay in Long Island, NY required a brand and logo for Oyster Bay Today, a blog site intended to showcase community events and history. As this was a new Town initiative, no brand existed when Niki Jones Agency joined the project.

THE LOGO
A name like “Oyster Bay,” creates a certain expectation of oyster-related imagery. However, Niki Jones Agency kept its design work original by including the detail of a pearl, highlighting Oyster Bay as a proverbial “pearl” of Long Island.

COLOR PALETTE
The color pallet for this oceanic community utilizes various shades of blue and contemporary black and gray, as well as yellow and burnt orange for accent.
